We Are One Family

“Growing up in Malaysia has given me the privilege of experiencing the richness of a multicultural society, where different races, cultures, and traditions coexist in harmony. In this painting, the three pineapples represent the uniqueness of our diverse communities. Though each differs in size, colour, and character, they stand together under the same sky, sharing the same light and the same roots. The flowing batik patterns beneath them celebrate Malaysia's cultural heritage, reminding us that our diversity is our greatest strength. Through this work, I hope to express my belief that unity is nurtured through mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation. Like these pineapples, we flourish when we embrace our differences and grow together as one family.”
