Behind the Scenes: A Journey of Friendship, Art & Inspiration

Every exhibition begins with a story, and every story begins with a journey.

As the curator of Art & Lifestyle Gallery, I have always believed that art is more than what we see on a canvas. It is about the people behind it, the friendships we build, and the memories we create together.

When planning the promotional video for our upcoming My Art, My Story Group Art Exhibition, I knew I wanted a location that reflected this spirit. As someone who has always loved the beach, I have found that the sea brings a sense of peace, freedom, and inspiration. It reminds us to slow down, appreciate the present, and reconnect with ourselves.

That is why we chose the beautiful private beachfront at Beach N Breeze Glamping, Melaka, our generous location sponsor, as the backdrop for our video shoot.

A day by the sea

Throughout the day, our artists shared laughter, ideas, and countless memorable moments while filming by the sea. Although everyone came from different backgrounds and artistic styles, the beach naturally brought us together. It became more than just a filming location — it became a place where friendships grew stronger.

As the sun set, our journey continued with a simple barbecue dinner by the beach. We put our cameras aside, shared stories, exchanged ideas, and enjoyed each other's company. These conversations reminded me that a successful exhibition is not only built on beautiful artworks but also on trust, collaboration, and genuine human connection.
