Nature and beauty have shaped her path from the start.
After studying in France, she spent over a decade in fashion design, finding beauty in fabric and form. In 2015 she set out on her own, taking on renovation and repair work and bringing order and warmth back to tired spaces.
In recent years, biodynamic gardening has opened her eyes to the rhythms of soil, seasons and living things.
She has come to see that every creature has its place, even those we overlook or dislike, quietly feeding the earth. Nature gives generously, but keeping that balance is up to all of us.
Her paintings are where these lessons take shape.

Small as it is, a snail can strip a vegetable patch in a single night. No wonder farmers can't stand it. Yet it is not as greedy as it looks. In rich soil, where crops grow strong, it nibbles only the old leaves. Where the soil is poor and plants struggle, it moves in and clears them away. It cannot see far ahead, but guided by instinct and its tentacles, it always turns up where it is needed. When it dies, its shell breaks down and returns calcium to the earth. That is its purpose. There are people like this around us too. They may seem to give little to the world, but they are here for a reason, one still waiting to be discovered.
A seed falls from a tree and opens into two tender leaves. Tiny as it is, it already carries the memory of the tree it is meant to become. I brought one home and kept it in water. It stayed alive. After a month, its stem had grown a little taller, but it still had only those two first leaves. Away from the soil, it simply stopped growing.
